Adam Exler | two songs

At just twelve years old, Adam Goodley’s life changed the moment he heard B.B. King’s “The Thrill Is Gone.” That raw emotion and soulful delivery sparked a lifelong pursuit of musical expression, leading Adam to the keyboard as his instrument of choice. Years later, under the professional name Exler, he has carved out a place for himself as a passionate singer, songwriter, and performer with a sound that fuses rock, pop, and soul.

A graduate of Buckley School and an elite tennis player with experience at the prestigious Bollettieri Academy, Exler honed his musical skills at The Grove School of Music. His journey led to the formation of Everblue, a band through which he released his debut album on a modest budget—yet with big ambitions. Showcasing his unique vocals and keyboard style, Everblue laid the foundation for a catalog that continues to grow in depth and emotion.

Exler has played iconic stages throughout Los Angeles, opening for artists like Howard Jones, Canned Heat, and Tito Y Tarantula. His sound—described as soulful, universal rock/pop—is defined by heartfelt melodies, rich harmonies, and lyrics that resonate with passion and hope.

His latest work, including the tracks “Cryin’ Time” (Country/Rock/Pop) and “Ride The Night” (Rock/Alternative/Pop), is produced by Grammy-winning mixer Bob Horn, known for his work with music legends and chart-topping acts. This project is especially meaningful, as it honors Exler’s late stepfather, who passed away from pancreatic cancer.

Now streaming on most major platforms, Exler’s music continues to move listeners with its emotional honesty and genre-blending sound—a tribute to the thrill he first felt and the soulful journey he’s still on.
