After Reno is the creative collaboration between singer Phil Tobin and guitarist Chris Gould, who began their journey of writing and recording original music in early 2024. Drawing inspiration from Americana music, as well as film and art, they have quickly carved out a unique sound.
Together, they take the reins on writing, recording, and producing their own material. To date, they’ve released four captivating tracks, including I’ll Burn Away, Backlight, and their latest single, Through The Heat Of The Morning. They also showcase their versatility with an ambient instrumental piece titled 02:15.
At the heart of their music lies a commitment to intimate, thought-provoking songwriting. Their powerful vocals, evocative lyrics, and subtle instrumentation create a rich listening experience that resonates deeply with audiences.
