Loser’s Way Home was founded in 2008 by Randall Downs and Matt Cureton as a laid-back musical collaboration among friends. The sound began to take shape in early 2009 when Steven Bowman joined the group, bringing his fiddle and songwriting to the mix.
In 2016, Randall and Steven relaunched the band in Phoenix, Arizona, marking a new chapter with the addition of Loser’s Way Home’s first-ever female vocalist, Sarynne Earls. Over the years, the band has evolved, blending indie, folk, and singer-songwriter styles with heartfelt storytelling and rich instrumentation.
Their single “Ma” — a soul-stirring blend of indie-folk — was released on June 18, 2021, and is streaming now on all major platforms.
