Loser’s Way Home (LWH) has been forging its unique musical identity since 2008. Originally formed as a collaboration among friends, Randall Downs and Matt Cureton, the band has since transformed into a distinctive fusion of pop, jazz, and indie styles, resulting in a sound that is entirely their own.
Throughout the years, Loser’s Way Home has undergone several changes, most notably the addition of Steven Bowman in 2009. His fiddle skills and songwriting prowess introduced a fresh layer to the band’s musical landscape. However, it was in 2016, when the band reestablished itself in Phoenix, Arizona, and welcomed Sarynne Earls as their first female vocalist, that LWH truly began to refine its sound. This pivotal moment allowed them to merge indie, singer-songwriter, and alt-rock elements, infusing their music with a renewed sense of cohesion and emotional depth.
