Toronto-based singer-songwriter and visual artist Martin Gladstone has released a moving new single, Over The Rainbow Bridge—a heartfelt acoustic ballad rooted in reflection, memory, and human connection. Known for his deeply personal and organic style, Gladstone’s latest work continues to emphasize the beauty of real instruments, real harmonies, and raw emotion.
Before returning to his creative roots, Martin was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the Toronto band The Grottybeats, before stepping away from the stage to pursue a successful career in law. After practicing until 2021, he made the bold and inspiring decision to transition into a new chapter of life focused on music and painting—a return to his original passions.
Over The Rainbow Bridge is part of a series of singles releasing throughout 2025. These songs are a conscious rejection of artificiality, embracing instead what Gladstone calls “organic” music: no AI, no synthetic vocals—just honest, heartfelt songwriting with real human touch. Drawing from genres like Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter, and Adult Contemporary, his music explores universal themes of love, loss, childhood, confusion, and the quiet moments that connect us all.
The track features contributions from some of Canada’s most gifted and award-winning musicians and was recorded and produced at the renowned Metalworks Recording Studios near Toronto—a hub for top-tier musical talent in the country.
