Supporting Independent Artists remains at the core of our mission, guiding every new direction we take at mysoundMusic.
The independent music landscape is constantly shifting, and with each change comes new challenges—and new opportunities. At mysoundMusic, our mission has always been clear: to champion emerging artists and give overlooked talent the visibility it deserves. Today, we’re excited to share a new direction that strengthens that mission and opens the door to even more meaningful artist support.
For years, playlist placements have been one of the most recognizable services we’ve offered. They’ve served as a helpful entry point for exposure and discoverability. But as many artists have noticed, the playlist ecosystem has become increasingly difficult to navigate safely and effectively. The rise of questionable playlist practices, algorithm unpredictability, inconsistent listener engagement, and rapidly shifting platform rules have all contributed to an environment that is less stable—and less beneficial—for independent musicians.
After careful consideration, reflection, and conversations with artists, we’ve decided it’s time for mysoundMusic to evolve.
Introducing a New Era: The Indie Q Radio Show

The biggest and most exciting change is the transition into a brand-new radio show format: Indie Q Radio.
Unlike playlists, a radio show provides curated, intentional programming that puts the spotlight exactly where it needs to be—on real artists creating real music. This shift gives us more control over presentation, artist storytelling, and overall listener experience. It also gives artists something incredibly valuable: a reliable, consistent platform that isn’t subject to the volatility of playlist algorithms or engagement drops.
Indie Q Radio is designed to do more than just play your songs; it aims to introduce listeners to the heart and identity behind your music. With structured segments, genre-focused features, and artist highlights woven throughout each broadcast, this new format will allow unsigned and overlooked artists to shine in a deeper and more authentic way.
What This Means for Artists
Although we are stepping away from accepting new playlist-pitching orders, this shift does not mean we’re reducing opportunities. In fact, the opposite is true.
Artists will continue to receive visibility through:
- In-depth blog posts
- Podcast shorts and interview-style features
- Spotlight segments on Indie Q Radio
- Social and community-driven music shares
These combined avenues create a more holistic support system—one that reflects how listeners actually discover and connect with music today.
Current Services Still Available
While playlist pitching is officially paused, several high-impact artist services remain open:
- Radio Show Submission Preparation
A strategic, hands-on approach to making sure your track is ready for the Indie Q Radio experience.

Although new playlist orders aren’t being accepted, this gig remains active for now as a hybrid option offering a playlist addition along with a share on a popular music site.

A focused, narrative-style segment that introduces listeners to your sound, story, and artistic identity.

Each of these services is designed to help artists stay visible, build credibility, and reach fresh ears through channels that truly matter.
Looking Ahead
Change is never easy, but it’s often necessary—and this change marks a bold, exciting chapter for mysoundMusic. The move toward a radio-driven model allows for better curation, more authenticity, and a deeper level of commitment to the artists who trust us with their music.
Thank you to every artist, listener, and supporter who has been part of this journey so far. Your belief in what we do fuels every new step we take. As we transition into this next era with Indie Q Radio and expanded content offerings, we remain dedicated to amplifying independent voices and creating spaces where musicians can truly be heard.
Here’s to evolution, creativity, and the future of independent music—together.
