Obed Zeme is a prominent guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer from New Delhi, India. He has been a key member of several bands, including classic rock group Basement Blues, Christian metal band Messiahnic Troopers, reggae funk band Babylon Extension, and the international funk-jazz ensemble Unfinished Biz.
Zeme has also contributed to iconic Indian rock bands like Nirvana, Applied, WinTage, and North-East Express. His music has been featured in MG Motors showrooms since 2019 and he has scored for TV serials, films, and National Geographic documentaries.
Zeme’s commercial work includes projects for Samsung, Hyundai, and Godrej. He has been highlighted in magazines such as The Outlook and RockStreetJournal, and covered by major newspapers like The Hindustan Times and The Times of India.
His work is broadcast by All India Radio across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Additionally, he is a certified Guitar Instructor Trainer for Yamaha Music Private Limited. His guitar instrumental albums ‘Canaan Caravan’ and ‘New Day’ were launched by Tata Nano and MG Motors, respectively.
