Lyrically this song speaks for itself! Although written in late 2019, the message feels very connected to the current Covid situation. “If you look hard enough you will find, that anything can be proven right”

“Internalize” is the debut single by New Orleans based visual artist and songwriter John Joseph Denis.
Having spent the last 25 years as an acclaimed artist and glass sculptor, Denis crosses over into the world of music with breathtaking effect. Blending sophisticated melodies and abstract lyrics, his artistic touch transcends disciplines and his effect is universal.

“Something Worth Saying” is basically my personal songwriting anthem. I didn’t want to put out music just to do it and it was really important to me to make sure there was a message behind what I was doing. “This voice is my weapon choice, these words are my army” was the idea that started the song and was a huge inspiration to get myself in the studio to actually release some music. It’s really easy for us to fall into the trap of just accepting certain things even if we disagree, but the words we choose and the timing of when to use them defines who we are as a person or a community so what “what battle is more worth fighting?”

“The Highateus nearly defies description, as its music spans genres, styles, and themes laced with darkly ironic lyrics and clever storytelling. The mysterious musical duo claim to be interdimensional travelers; a preposterous notion had they not disappeared in the Zone of Silence region of Mexico over 15 years ago without a trace. Now, after having returned to this dimensional realm in November of 2019, the pair has written, recorded, and released its appropriately titled new album “Zone of Silence”. It is essentially a concept album, but with each song seemingly inhabiting its own universe you get the feeling listening to it that these guys are for real.” – Jeff Stackhouse, esq.
