Popgang is a musical group hailing from Stroud, UK. The band consists of twin brothers Rob and Pete Evans, who have collaborated with their close friend Josh on several house music ventures such as BRS, J & R Productions, and 6LDA.
These projects have seen releases on various esteemed labels including Imperial Dub Recordings, Cyclo Records, and others. Later on, they joined forces with David Fowler to establish the current lineup of the band.
All members of Popgang share a deep appreciation for dance music as well as everything alternative, left field, and wonderfully pop. When it comes to songwriting, their subjects often revolve around the challenges and pressures of modern life, intertwined with the emotional aspects of our relationships and personal experiences.
These themes are beautifully conveyed through the abundant use of affected guitars and analog keys, occasionally hinting at their fondness for eighties tunes.
