Guido Meyer began playing guitar at age 7 in 1978, teaching himself. In 1987, he started recording his own music with a 4 Track Tape Recorder. He also developed an interest in synthesizers and electronic music.
In 1994, Guido recorded “Episodes 1 and 2” with a simple setup. The album was released in 2004. “Installations” was recorded in 1996 and released in 2006.
Guido’s musical journey has been filled with challenges and obstacles. He moved from Germany to Switzerland in 2003 and continues to release music sporadically. Despite facing difficulties, Guido has collaborated with singer Sarina Liechti on two songs.
He aims to make his music accessible to a wider audience and refuses to be confined to a specific genre. His music is a unique blend of progressive rock, electronic, new age, and pop.
