Oskar “Osi” Zakrzewski, an Amsterdam-based producer, musician, and songwriter, is making waves in the Dutch music scene with his debut single “Midnight”. Osi’s vision with this single is to cultivate a collective of top-tier musicians, or “Cats”, from the Netherlands.
Collaborating with talented lyricist Soesja Toehpah, known in the music circles of Leiden, Osi brings to life a mesmerizing collaboration. Featuring a lineup of exceptional jazz talents like multi-instrumentalist Lucas Figueiredo Santana, drummer Tim Rachbach, guitarist Richard Coesoij, known from fusion group Wakki, and bass player Michel Beeckman, “Midnight” is a true fusion of musical brilliance.
Recorded in a charming church in Delft, the setting inspired Osi to enlist a group of backing singers led by Daan Achterberg, who crafted a stunning arrangement for the backing choir including Kim van Eekelen and Carmen Coster.
